Activism
This photograph is a collage that highlights a few of the items in the Activism collection. Shown here is a photgraph of Betty Friedan who took part in the founding of the National Organization of Women and a picture of the cover photo of Revolution: Tomorrow is N.O.W. which is a summary of NOW's existing resolutions and policies by issue before 1973. The Statement of Purpose for the National Organization for Women as well as tactics used for the Memphis Chapter of the organization is also depicted in the collage. These items create a small portion of what the National Organization for Women stood for and strived to achieve.
