Bob expresses his love to Margaret and how he appreciates her support and that it is what helped him finish his tour. Also, he tells how the Memphis Belle will be retiring, but that he will make a Memphis Belle 2 after that one. Margaret wrote back and explained how others are being very nosy about what they were doing and how proud and happy he looked because of the ‘Belle.’
